Regular readers are no doubt familiar with Garen Ewing‘s Rainbow Orchid adventure tale. Not only is Garen an excellent story-teller but he’s a perfect gent too, and even interviewed me a while back. He’s been celebrating a particular milestone birthday this week and what better way to celebrate than to plug the upcoming publication of his masterpiece!
Egmont are to publish the Rainbow Orchid in three books with the first volume to appear in August. I was lucky enough to get hold of a copy of a limited edition version of his first chapter and can’t wait to see how the ‘official’ version looks. You can now pre-order on Amazon or buy direct from the Rainbow Orchid website on publication. Garen has been running a competition to win signed cover proofs and there’s still time to enter if you’re quick! Also, Sarah McIntyre has been running a slightly unofficial competition of her own…

Great comic, just wished it came out a little more often or maybe had bigger strips. Not that I’m complaining or demanding and I’m probably not the first to say this. It’s just a bit tough to keep the interest in tozo flowing with just one comic a week personally.

Hmm. I’m thinking that maybe there was, in fact, a deal that was struck at the time described in this strip: the same deal upheld at the end of Chapter 2.

I understand PCZ – I find it frustrating too – but there’s not much I can do as it’s only an unfunded part-time project. Thanks for reading anyhow.
