A double update to make up for my recent slackery.

I’ve had a few emails saying in effect: DAVE, WHEN THE BLAZES ARE YOU GETTING THE PRINT VERSION OF CHAPTER 3 OUT?! Though in the nice, polite way that is the characteristic of the Tozo readership. I’m pleased to say that it should be going to the printers shortly. If you’re one of the people who volunteered to have your likeness in the comic a year ago (yikes!) then you should keep an eye on your email in the next week. And if you’ve grown an extra head in the last year, now would be a good time to let me know…

This has reminded me that February is Tozo anniversay month, which I’d totally forgotten in my excitement about Angouleme – three years! I’ll do something to celebrate during March in the run up to release of the new print comic.

Speaking of Angouleme, it was amazing! So much inspiration it quite made my head spin. I was this close <————–> to Moebius at the hotel bar but was too scared to speak to him. The Comics Reporter blog has links to various reports, including Sarah’s which has some great photos too. One discovery was Jolies Ténèbres by Vehlmann and Kerascoët which was beautiful and slightly horrifying at the same time. I didn’t buy it because I’m not sure I want its black magic in my home – though I may succumb to its spell at some point as I can’t stop thinking about it, and when a book does that you know it’s good stuff!
